Scope and Content
WWII propaganda poster by Norman Rockwell depicting a family dinner. The patriarch and matriarch of the family are serving an all dressed turkey placing it on the center of the dinner table. The rest of the family is seated around the table all engaged in conversations waiting for the feast to begin. It is captioned: "Ours...to fight for FREEDOM FROM WANT." An enlistment poster meant to evoke patriotism and have those fight in this war so that those back home will not have to experience starvation and hardship and an end to rationing.
