WWII Non-Infantry helmet. "Schnidler" printed by hand across the back. Navy support. Green metal with some dark blue showing through. Crack on the top shows that something hit him. Inside is shiny and smooth with two colors of stripes, brown/tan. Leather band around the inside attached to the sides with canvas strips, metal elongated triangles and grommet that does not go through to the outside. There are three strips attached to these that cross over the inside to keep the head from going completely through to the top of the helmet. Metal buckle at the back.
