Scope and Content

Letter addressed to Mrs. Dorothy Humphreys Hinnitt from the Assistant Keeper of the Armouries at the H.M. Tower of London. The letter is in response to photographs sent for identification of a gun ( a shi'ps cannon that had been discovered in a swamp on Guard Hill.) He thought that it might be a Blomefield's Pattern, of Sir Thomas Blomefield's term (1780-1822)
