Typewritten article of 3 pages, written by Donald W. Marshall about the British Ship's Cannon that is at least a century and a half old at the time this was written in the 1960's. The cannon was found by Ernest L.P Hockley,who had a blacksmith shop. The cannon was gifted to BHS by his son William P. Hockley. The article describes different inquires made to experts of armature in both England and the US. See previous correspondence for the experts opinions. This article also has the responses from the first article of people speculating about the cannon and how it came to be in the swamp on Guard Hill Road. This was posssibly in the Patent Trader.
