Two piece dress, mid nineteenth century, interesting bodice has first tier of skirt attached to it, the bodice of ivory cotton printed with small purple checkerboard squares, the peplum and tiers of the skirt printed with checkerboard and brown and purple stripes, the bodice with bateau neckline, trumpet sleeves set in with trios of self piping, gathered at center front into the waist, the peplum attached with minute gathering, good condition.
