Home of Col. Jesse Holly in 1803. Later it became the hotel of Robert Jimmerson. Was the Bedford Hotel located between the Bedford General Store and former Humble Oil/Exxon gas station, now 634 Old Post Road. torn down in 1965 at time of sale to Freeman Bixler. THe BHS attempted to purchase to restore, but did not have funds to act quickly enough.
