Election./ At a respectable meeting of the Independent electors of the County of Westchester held at the Court House of Bedford, on Monday, the 21 of April, 1806, Thomas Boyce, Esq. in the chair; John Olmstead, Secretary: Resolved, The Samuel Jones, Esq. and James Morris, Esq. Be supported at the evening Election, as Senators from the Southern District of the State. Resolved, That Peter Augustus Jay be supported at the said Election as Representative in Congress from the District composed of the Counties of Westchester and Rockland. Resolved, that William Barker, Abraham Odell, Joshua Purdy, and Benjamin Isaacs, Be supported at the Said Election as Members of Assembly from this County.
