Description

circa 1882 braided "health" wire metal bustle with tan twill belt braided wire bustles were marketed for being light and cool and therefore "hygienic" as they allowed the skin to breathe and weighed less. Constructed in steel wire, staples and a twill tape waistband with an adjustable pronged buckle.
