Rbt Scheer's (editor of Rampart's Magazine) account of a night in Santa Rita jail read by Bill "Rosko" Mercer after he was arrested in the Berkeley People's Park protest, 1969. Covers freedom of speech, prison brutality. Rbt Scheer lived near People's Park and was a candidate for Congress in the Berkeley/Oakland community in 1966 (received 45% of vote).
