Heywood's Grocery. Sam Heywood bought it from Captain J.S. Higgins and moved it to Delaware and Fifth Streeet in 1892 or 1893. Moved by a later owner to south side of Delaware Street between 6th and 7th Street (current location, 834 Delaware--City of Berkeley Landmark). Note: This image was previously mislabeled as Bowen's Inn, which was across Contra Costa Road (San Pablo Avenue) from Higgins' Store. (New info from Daniella Thompson, July 2018.
