Description

Tapered round (ceramic) stopper (cap) for a beer bottle with American Brewing Company name and logo printed on top. Hole going through it for a wire that would attach it to bottle, but wire is missing. (See bottle 1978.002.052). Brewery in West Berkeley. Stopper found in backyard of 1919 Pacific Ave., Alameda, where there was a grocery store and saloon erected in 1878.
