Dedicated here today (Thursday, March 29), the Numano Sake Company is a joint venture of two American firms who will be challenging the age-old international monopoly on the sale of the traditional Japanese beverage sake. One of the principals, Taketsugu "Take Numano, president of the new concern, reports that 250,000 cases of sake will be produced annually from the 708 Addison Street, Berkeley, California brewery using such new equipment as the bottling machine pictured above. 708 Addison Street.
