Black, leather doctor's bag belonging to Drs. Louise and Robert Hector. Misc bottles and a few instruments in top part, along with blank California State Board of Health birth certificates (Alameda/Berkeley) and a round, red, white & blue cardboard container of Johnson & Johnson Silkworm/Gut (one hundred ligatures, iron-dyed). At the bottom of the bag is a pull out copper metal box with birthing instruments (9) in it. Handle on bag is missing. Metal lock/attachment along the top.
