Description

Clear glass medicine bottle with name of Caldecott's Pharmacy, Ashby Station, Berkeley, Cal. embossed on it. Old glass, has some bubbles. Pharmacy opened in 1903 and was owned by Thomas E. Caldecott. Caldecott was elected to Berkeley City council in 1923 and became mayor in 1931. The Caldecott Tunnel was named after him.
