Heavy, square, cardboard pale green box with attached top and "Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker" and their logo of a stylized deer in a circle on top. There are 12 divisions inside the box for different wrapped chocolates and included in the box are paper and foil wrap for 10 different chocolates. The business, an independent chocolate maker located at 914 Heintz St. in Berkeley, was founded in 1996. It was acquired by Hershey in 2005. Eventually the name was changed to Scharffen Berger Chocolate and production in Berkeley was closed and combined with other Hershey operations elsewhere.Lexicon
