Lawsha primarily know for alto sax. The jazz festival started in 1967, at the Greek Theatre and went on intermittantly till 2008 (big gap 1987-2004. Picture of Lawsha on the front , notes on back by Julian Cannonball Adderley. There was another album named Firebirds by him, recorded in 1967 and released in 1969 with Sonny Simmons.
