Vinyl phonograph record "Love Chooses You" by Laurie Lewis (b: 1950-). Most of the songs on the album were written by Lewis. She is lead vocalist and fiddler with group playing bass, mandolin, dobro, guitar, drums, piano, banjo. Cover front and back has photo of her. She is a renowned bluegrass, folk and country musician and songwriter. Especially know for fiddle playing and singing, but plays many stringed instruments. Went to Berkeley High and lives in Berkeley. Started playing at folk clubs in Berkeley and Bay Area in 60s. Played in the 1970s with various groups and recorded first album in the 80s. Won (2x) Californian's Women's Fiddling Championship and also a Grammy in 1997. Teamed with Tom Rozum in 1986. Teaches at various workshops (Bluegrass/fiddle) all over the country.Lexicon
