Description

This steam shovel is breaking ground for Berkeley's new telephone office. (left) John D. Holmes, Tri-city area manager, discusses the plans with manager B.A. Glover of Berkeley. Next is F.M. Buck, telephone pioneer and Chester Kelly, Berkeley wire chief. E.F. Louideck, president of the Berkeley Chamber Of Commerce is at the throttle of the steam shovel while Secretary Keeler of that organization gets up the Steam. With this is a reproduction of a photograph on plain paper, same men but Holmes and Glover are looking at some plans. This image not scanned.
