Child's oak wood school desk. Probably from Hillside School. Top lifts up on a chain, attached on left side. Inside compartment 4 inches deep, with a small compartment in front for pencils. Carved on top: initials and a box or house. Inkwell hole on right. Four legs with a cross piece of wood about 6 inches off floor ( for feet?).
