Description

Clock, tall case. With adorned painted face, a red bird in a tree in the centre, and four roses, one in each extremity of the face. Donated in about 1970 to the BHS by William T. Conyers Jr. in memory of his mother and father Dr. and Mrs. William T. Conyers. The clock is from their old family home 'Westmeath' in Pembroke. A feature is the representation of the hour '4', shown not as the Roman numer IV but as IIII.
