Note

References to the life and times of Thomas Moore while in Bermuda are numerous, including pages 122-124 of "Bermuda's Story", by the late Terry Tucker, on sale at the Museum. Additionally, the Society has several volumes of his works in the Books Collection. But perhaps the most complete summary of his life after his three-month stint in Bermuda (only upon his return to London did his activities make him world-famous as a song-writer and composer) may be obtained from Society members Keith and Lois Forbes, who have researched his achievements in great detail for inclusion in their book "Anniversaries & Great Moments in Classical Music History."
