Historical Note

Note

The fragments of this Chinese porcelain dragon jar, Wanli period (1573-1620) were gathered from the wreck of the San Antonio over a period of 25 years, during which 21 pieces were recovered and reassembled until it seems almost pristine. A few pieces were still missing and the spaces were filled in with plaster.
