Description

The Praying Man, painting by Laura B. Delisle shows a man praying while sitting at the table. His hands are clasped and eyes closed. He has a loaf of bread on the table as well as a glass with something to drink in it. The artist has signed on the lower right corner. The frame is made of wood and looks like white weathered wood with slight subtle metallic gray tones. The back of the painting is solid. particleboard and there is no paper. It is hung with a string.

Laura B. Delisle was a well known local artist whose main focus was a scenery and animals. She had showings in the area. The Man Praying is one of her first paintings.
