This is a WeePLA Press, designed and printed by Bill Ritchie, Seattle, in 2024. He named it “Wee” because it is tiny, “PLA” because it is made of polylactic acid (PLA) plastic. It is modeled on the Halfwood presses Bill designed; but it's not a working press. It was inspired by Martin Schneider’s openpressproject.com. Bill's is a collector’s item, a toy conceived for kids to print and sell in kidpreneur fairs and promote STREAM-core Ed and Kids Printmaking Spaces.
