Study for My Father's Farm from the Moon

Preparing to cut and etch the plates for the central image and the framing plates, I made this mixed-media work on paper, combining the diazo image in the center, paint, and pencil. The brown image is from a video artwork photographed and printed as a diazo brownline, a moonscape image inspired by science fiction, the white paint harkening back to the trees series of the mid-sixties.
