The last Umbrella 30: The engraving of our cat was done in San Jose. I love the detail of engraving. Later in Seattle, I added the aquatint and stencil umbrella and trees. I can see now, writing 40 years later, it’s an autobiographical image. Oh, the stories it tells me now! The final version expanded 3 inches top and 2 inches by drawing with pencil and pen, and added two bridges in the center beyond the umbrella.
