See Bill's autobiography, flipbook pages 229 and 235, "In December I got a call from a guy named David Burga ...," for the story about how David was going to get rich selling artistamps. Bill agreed to hand over his painting, "Target and Reflection," for his part of the deal. David then photographed it and had it printed as a stamp. In the Wall Street Journal he bought a classified ad. Nothing came of it. He left Bill with six stamps and disappeared with the painting. Bill performed his usual act of addressing the envelope to a nonexistent address to insure it would be returned with the usual handstamped directions to return it to him.
