A view of the falls on Otter Creek at Vergennes in the left side of the photograph that was taken from a height of land above what is now called Macdonough Drive. The Vergennes Congregational Church is the building with the spire in the center left of the photo. Underneath the photograph is a one-sentence note from Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Dean written in 1907. The card was mailed from Ferrisburgh to a couple living in Long Beach, California.
