Description

A view of several homes on Main Street in Vergennes. A woman stands on the side porch of the home with the ivy covered front entrance. The card was sent by Rose Sears to her cousin, Walter Soulia in Rutland. She updates him on the family's health and then tells of going fishing -- saying the catch was 22 bull heads and 18 "pirch." This was sent from Ferrisburgh in perhaps 1916 or 1918 -- the cancellation stamp didn't print the year clearly.
