"Dear Gift & Thrift- I don't know where this beautiful vintage dress came from- only that it was in my mother's cedar chest when she died 12 years ago. Since 3 of my 4 grandparents are from the valley (Waynesboro + Harrisonburg area). I am sending it back. They were all born in the 1890s + bear the names Showalter, Shenk, Wyant/Blosser/Heatwole, etc. I hope you can get some money for it or donate it to one of the valley museums.
