Beery sisters wove in a weaver's cottage on Beery Homestead located east of Rt. 42 south of Edom, VA. The homestead is listed on the VA and US list of Historic Sites and includes the weaving cottage where the blanket was woven. It is currently owned by Mr. and Mrs. William Pond. This farm is the only stone collection of house and farm buildings in VA.
