Contains intitials "A.S.W." and the date 1917. Made by Alta S. Wenger Rhodes (1906-2001), daughter of Mary "Molly" Custer Wenger (1880-1919) who died of the Spanish flu (see newspaper clipping in attached file). Backing and knots are more modern than 1917.
