High chair, Brunk family, 1840s. Mildred Kraus was told by her parents Joseph and Hannah Brunk, that her grandfather, Elias Brunk, born July 2, 1856, sat in this high chair when he was a child. Since Elias was the sixth child born to John and Anna Brunk, it is possible that this chair was made for their first born, Samuel Brunk, born on January 8, 1843. In 2019, the estimated age of this chair is around 175 years old.Cataloged By
