Pink floral serving dish with lid

Context

"Belonged to Maud Showalter and given to Dorothy (her niece, my mother). Mother did some care-giving for her Aunt Maud who had no children. The tureen is Austrian which I have heard was sometimes among the treasures that immigrants brought from the Old World. I don't know the history of this piece."
