Glenelda II was built as a 37 fot cruiser and launched in 1935. Her lines reflect the art deco style of those times. A previous owner, Bryan Rowntree, had her foredeck removed and seating installed , as the vessel was primarily used for day cruising. Glenelda II turns heads every time she is out of the boathouse.
Her subsequent owner was Montegu (Monty) Black, brother of Conrad Black, a Canadian and British former newspaper publisher, businessman, and writer.
