Document - Town. Collection of docs, some official copies of the time, c. 1848. All dealing with terms of Jos. Houghton’s bequest of $ and land for a school. Mr. H’s will barred descendents of some Boltonites from the school, much discussion surrounded Town’s eventual acceptance of the bequest and erection of Houghton School.
