Object. Marble block used with wooden gavel (0-1) at Bolton GAR post (GK Warren, Post 172) meetings. Block is c. 4 x 6.75 x 3”. Top is incised G.A.R. filled in gold paint. One note found with it says given by Mary Proctor Howe, but there is a handwritten note by EKW “Are you sure Mary Proctor Howe gave this,” and penciled reply in unk. hand, “no.”
