Object. Silver pocket watch. Belonged to Reuben E. Newton (grandfather of donor, D. Mayo). Made in Bolton by Humphrey Barrett, watch and clockmaker. Marked “HUM”; face thick with flattened area, nearly 1”thick and about 2”diameter. According to BHS notes it has been cleaned and repaired in the past. See also O 54, watch stand. (Old Acc.
