Object. Brass uniform buckle, 2 1/8” x 3 “ with MASS stamped in raised letters. Belonged to Major Henry Whitcomb, Civil War soldier. A small brass button, c. 5/8” diam with raised eagle and shield, Horstmann Bros. & Co., Phil on reverse was tied to the buckle (cat. separately as O 91). Civil war uniform vs. GAR uniform unknown.
