Object. Maroon silk sash, 10’4” long x 3 1/2 “ wide, including a 7” tassle on each end. Old accession sheet notes it as c. 1860’s worn by Major Henry Whitcomb (Old No. 00.00.1955). Unclear if this was part of a Civil War, Militia or a GAR Uniform.
