Description

Evelyn Fortune Bartlett watercolor BEACH COMBING, framed Titled watercolor painting on paper depicts blue and green bottles, nautilus, conch, giant band shell, and coral on top of yellow scarf atop a brown wooden plank. Signature in pencil in upper object left corner - Evelyn Bartlett. Carl Weinhardt collected almost all of EFB's paintings from White Hall and brought them to Bonnet House while he was Director. After his death Jack and Mary Wilcox hung them in the Gallery and afterward EFB adjusted them. #21, John Herron Art Museum, 1934
