Oil painting on canvas of elegant men and women dancing, a close view. At object right is a couple with arms around each other shown from the knees up. Man has brown wavy hair, red face. He wears a black suit with white shirt, black tie. Woman facing to the object right wears a white sleeveless gown with v back. She has tan flesh, yellow shoulder length hair. Behind and to the object left of this couple can be seen a woman's face leaning against a man in a black suit, white shirt, orange skin. Floor is yellow. On wooden stretcher. Varnished. In gilt and white wooden and plaster frame (not original frame?) Frame has relief scroll decorations; front has ogee molding; sides ar fascia, scotia, fascia moldings.
