Description

Evelyn Fortune Bartlett's Art oil on board HAT AND GLOVES. Collected at Bartlett studio in Beverly, Massachusetts. See B21, B111. Catalogued by S. Gillis on 7/31/1985: Oil painting on fiberboard depicts black top hat at rightproper left with black material with orange, yellow, whgiteprint underneath. To the left of the hat are tan kid gloves (man's). Above the gloves is a tan felt hat. to the right of the tan felt hat can be seen a white scarf and on top of it the brass knob head of a brown wooden cane. these items sit atop two blue stools (?). Only the tops of the stools can vbe seen. Background is gray. Black and blue vertical section in upper proper right corner. Support is covered with gray fabric. Vertical orientation.
