Description

Evelyn Fortune Bartlett watercolor HONEY DEW AND LEMONS, framed Watercolor painting on paper depicts three lemons and one half of lemon with half of a melon with sliced side up all sitting atop a silver salver and blue tablecloth. Signature in pencil in lower object right corner - Evelyn Bartlett. Carl Weinhardt collected almost all of EFB's paintings from White Hall and brought them to Bonnet House while he was Director. After his death Jack and Mary Wilcox hung them in the Gallery and afterward EFB adjusted them to suit her. #24, John Herron Art Museum, 1934 .
