Description

Oil painting on canvas depicts blue ocean with orange land mass at object left center. On it are white buildings. In lower object left corner is part of sailboat with green and gray sail, orange and black prow. Printed signature in blue in lower object right corner: FREDERIC CLAY BARTLETT. Varnished. Title: Channel This painting appeared in 1946 exhibit at National Arts Club,15 Gramercy Park, NYC. It was collected from Bartlett's art studio on Boyles Street, Beverly, MA in1984 and relocated to the Bonnet House Studio.
