A painting showing a two-tiered pagoda roof building in shades of brown and sand located on water with two human figures and a bridge. It is the Blue Willow Tea House in Shanghai, China. This building inspired the blue willow china pattern, The painting once hung in 1st floor of the Bartlett's mansion, White Hall, in Beverly, MA.
This painting was exhibited in 1982 at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of American Art in a show featuring the works of Freseric Clay Bartlett and Evelyn Fortune Bartlett.
