Evelyn Fortune Bartlett watercolor POMEGRANATE, framed
Watercolor painting on paper depicts two pomegranates with paring knife. In the bowl next to the fruit sits a brown ceramic planter containing black soil and a bromeliad plant with two shoots in the planter. Signature in lower object right corner - Evelyn Bartlett.
Carl Weinhardt collected almost all of EFB's paintings from White Hall and brought them to Bonnet House while he was Director. After his death Jack and Mary Wilcox hung them in the Gallery.
