Description

Evelyn Fortune Bartlett watercolor PINEAPPLE, PAPAYA/GUAVA, ACKEE. Watercolor painting on paper. Horizontally oriented pineapple in orange and green with green leaves. Below pineapple are two ackees. Underneath all is a philodendron leaf and plaid cloth. Painted at Bonnet House, collected at White Hall. Framed, titled. Carl Weinhardt collected almost all of EFB's paintings from White Hall and brought them to Bonnet House while he was Director. After his death Jack and Mary Wilcox hung them in the Gallery. #4, John Herron Art Museum, 1934
