1990.FB.007Description
Characterized by blue background with a variety of coral and shells, a large coral is surmounted by a bird in foreground. One of a pair, see 1990.FB.008.
This painting and its companion piece once hung in the Bonnet House gatehouse. Today, a convenience store has replaced that structure which was located near Sunrise Boulevard and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The house was demolished and the paintings were removed and hung in the Courtyard of Bonnet House for many years.
In March 2005, their outdoor location was deemed inappropriate in terms of preservation. Reproductions hang there today and the originals are now kept in climate controled storage.Artwork Details
