Description

Oil painting on canvas depicts tulips in a yellow urn on top of a small white table. Yellow ceramic krater-shaped urn at center. Handles extend from lower sides. Base has square pedastal base. From vase extend tulips of black, brown, yellow, white, pink with green leaves, stems. Small blue flowers also in vase. Vase sits atop a covered table. Cover has blue geometric shapes on white background. Background is blue. On wooden stretcher. Varnished. In white wooden frame with ogee molding, joined at back corners with L shaped iron mending plates (original frame). Vertical orientation. Artist: FCB. Untitled. Painted in studio in Beverly, Mass. Collected at artist's studio in Beverly, Mass.
